"Before taking the AI for Founders course by Dr. Shamila and Beck, I had mostly relied on Chat GPT for most of my tasks. I did not know about agentic AI or that different Large Language Models (LLMs) have distinct strengths that can be leveraged strategically. I had no knowledge of how to sequence multiple tools for different phases of my tasks, for example brainstorming and structuring ideas with ChatGPT, refining analytical reasoning and synthesis of output using Anthropic's Claude, and then transferring outputs to perplexity to generate verifiable and reference backed results. I was also not aware of other AI platforms with different capabilities that include Loveable and Base44 or Replit that could rapidly build websites and develop applications. I had no prior exposure to vibe coding and no computer programming skills. I did not perceive AI platforms as specialised agents that can be orchestrated to handle smaller components of a complex task. Yet on multiple occasions, I was able to create and iterate rapidly, largely due to the significant time savings enabled by having multiple agents work with me. I learn best by doing. The class actually integrates didactic lectures with a hands-on lab component, with Dr. Shamila and Beck ready to offer support in real time. I still have a lot to learn and I am thankful for the foundation that this course gave me."
